Member appreciation Monday

The Newberry Township Fire Department is going to start a new trend that a lot of other departments throughout the county have begun doing to engage with the public and share what our department provides to the residents and visitors we serve.
This will run once a month with each month being a new valued member of our department.
Member appreciation Monday, Today the Department would like to recognize…
Firefighter Fetrow, Jennifer joined the department in 2022, When she first joined the department Jen fully engaged herself with all classes that are provided to advance her education and knowledge of being a Firefighter, she worked herself all the way up to Firefighter 2 and Vehicle Rescue Technician in less than 1 year of joining the department! Countless hours and sleepless nights to strive the accomplishments and pushing herself to the max to learn. She plans to take the next steps in educating herself to become an EMT.
Jen currently sits on the board of directors for the department as the Secretary. She is a mother of two who enjoys time with her husband and children, she also spends her time going on hikes throughout the area and you can find her working out at the local gym in the township, her son Connor also races Micro Sprit 600 series you can find the family cheering him on weekends! She is an avid outdoors person who loves animals and an all-around great asset and inspiration to all new members who join to show what you can accomplish!
Throughout all this Jen still dedicates a great deal of her time to the department with the year 2023 being one of the top responders. The department and residents are extremely grateful for your dedication to the department and are grateful to have you!
